Extraction Point
Welcome To Extraction Point
We are Extraction Point, this is a 3D FPS game where the main objective is to defeat all the enemies to escape. You are first trapped inside a facility eliminate the enemies to become free. Once you become free you will need to fight off enemies in various different sceneries to be able to make you way to the extraction point. Once you reach the extraction point on the last level you will be fully clear of danger.

Goal
The overall goal of our game is to fight your way to survival. Make your way to the extraction point to leave this mob infested world. We also want the player to focus and observe the scenery as we spent some time trying to make the surrounding area look nice so the player feels more immersed into each level. We set the enemies to be able to hunt down the player when in range to give the player a feeling of danger and cause them to react fast.
Workload
Austin Radhs has worked on creating the main menu, level 1 and level 4. He also worked on the in game GUI & Enemies.
Gianni Menassa has worked on creating level 2 and level 3. He also imported a lot of the assets we have used to make the textures in the game flow together.
Contribution
Our focus for developing this game was to focus on the FPS aspect as we both really enjoyed making our in class FPS game. We wanted to focus on making open world levels so the player is able to explore and look around while working on completing levels. We didn't just want to focus to be on the enemies but also the surrounding environment which is why we spent a good amount of time designing the world itself.
Plans
Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to add everything we wanted to add. We had some high expectations and wanted to really develop so much more so here are some future plans we have. We were hoping to add more levels, but due to the size and limitations of Itch.io, we had to shave down the game due to this. We also wanted to add a final boss with different game modes potentially and maybe even a multilayer mode. Adding more in depth textures and detailed scenes along with new enemies and detailed animations would have been on the agenda.
